We started Fytique because the UK home gym market was full of the wrong things.

Cheap equipment dressed up with impressive specifications. Generalist retailers stocking hundreds of brands without knowing any of them properly. Products that looked good in photos and arrived built to fail.

If you are spending £300, £1,000, or £3,000 on home gym equipment, you should be buying something that lasts. We built Fytique around that idea.

How we choose what goes on the site

We do not stock everything. We stock what passes.

Every product that goes live on fytique.co.uk goes through the same four checks:

Steel gauge and weld quality. Does the construction meet a commercial standard — not consumer grade? If it flexes where it should be rigid, it does not make our range.

Weight capacity — honestly rated. A rack that claims 300kg and bends at 150 is not a 300kg rack. We check rated loads against what the equipment actually does under stress.

UK warranty and after-sales support. A warranty number printed on a spec sheet is not the same as a real UK team standing behind the product. We only work with suppliers who can support their products after the sale.

Long-term availability. Can we get parts? Can we support you after purchase? Equipment that cannot be serviced or repaired is not equipment — it is a subscription with an expiry date.

Most brands that cross our desk do not pass all four. That is not a problem. That is the standard.

We are a new business — and we are honest about that

Fytique launched in 2026. We do not have years of reviews. We do not have thousands of customers.

What we do have is a carefully selected range of equipment, a genuine understanding of what makes home gym kit worth buying, and a commitment to being the kind of retailer we would want to buy from ourselves.
