Designed for functional training and diverse gym environments, the 30mm Premium Rubber Gym Tile combines durability with advanced impact absorption and noise reduction. Crafted from 100% recycled NR SBR rubber, this tile supports lighter weightlifting, kettlebell workouts, and bodyweight exercises while contributing to sustainability with its eco-friendly materials and premium finish.

The dual-layer design features a fine granule top surface for enhanced traction and a medium granule base delivering stability and resilience. Installation is streamlined through a hidden connector system that requires no adhesive, facilitating effortless setup and future reconfiguration without damaging the flooring. The infusion of 15% EPDM blue fleck not only enriches the visual appeal but also enhances durability, while achieving a 20dB sound insulation rating to promote quieter, more focused training sessions.

Frequently asked questions

What thickness of gym flooring do I need at home?

As a guide: 6-10mm for cardio and light exercise, 10-15mm for mixed dumbbell/bench training, and 15-20mm or more for serious strength work with heavier weights. If you're dropping loaded barbells, standard mats aren't enough — you need a dedicated lifting platform or impact zones.

Read the full guide: What Thickness Gym Mats for Home Gym Use?

Does my existing floor type affect the flooring I need?

Yes — concrete is forgiving and can work with thinner dense rubber, while timber floorboards, laminate and upstairs rooms need more protection and a firmer, denser mat rather than just going thicker.

Rubber or foam flooring — which is better?

Rubber is the more durable, all-round choice for mixed home gym use. Foam (EVA) is lighter and fine for light bodyweight sessions, but compresses and wears faster under benches, racks or free weights.
